52 Weeks of InfiniteFulfillment: Week 23-What We Are Not Distinguishes What We Are

‘A designer knows he has achieved perfection not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.’…Aviator, adventurer, & author, Antoine de Saint-Exup’ery

In a commitment to inquiry, exploration, and discovery, we give ourselves access to initial recognition of what we are NOT.  This recognition and the acknowledgment of what we see is key to continual distinguishing of what we ARE.  As we ‘take away’  – eliminate what we are NOT, we move closer to our individual core – to the perfection of what we ARE for ourSelf, with Other, in the World.  These three windows of ‘I am’ frame our individual resonant potential, give us a context for intimate deliberate listening, and ultimately transform the words we say to create the yearning we experience.

Within each one of us lies our capacity in the world.  At the level of resonance, we know this potential and we can articulate its name.  It is not available through intellect.  Only direct experience provides this revelation.  We are charged with living inquiry, with opening to exploration, with allowing discovery.  The question is the key.

This week’s living question – our question to live is part of the process of distinguishing each person’s expression of resonant potential in the world:

In the world, what am I NOT?
