The most exciting thing happened to me this morning! I heard from a friend who calls me often and with whom I have long meaningful conversations. Often, those conversations can turn into matches of mind and wit and context-defending exchanges. This morning was distinctly different. My friend showed up for me as the most succinct he’s ever been and the clearest I have ever experienced him. A delight, to be sure …. and even more delightful and intriguing is the fact that this conversation coincides with a personal aha and experience of my own just a few days ago! Yes, an intimate transformation that has me the most succinct and the clearest I have been about a personal issue in many years!

Coincidence? Not in my world.

Rather, a direct external expression of a shift in deep internal essence.

How does Certainty happen? From where does Certainty come? What does one need to do to access Certainty? All of these questions were inside a conversation I had this evening. Certainty emerges. It comes from within. It is the result of staying present in process – of allowing space and time to call forth authentic expectancy and anticipation.

The point of Certainty is synonymous with a wish fulfilled, a longing relieved, a desire activated. From a place of inquiry to a state of resonance, Certainty is an individual ‘this is it’, an experience known only by you, for you. This experience is an eternal touchstone. It is familiar. We know it from past experience, regardless of the specific desire in current focus.

Absence of this individual experience of Certainty serves as trusted indication that Desire’s initiation has not taken root. Rooted, Certainty germinates Desire and generates its InfiniteFulfillment.

52 Weeks of InfiniteFulfillment: Week 46 – Ambiguity And Reality

I have been hanging out with our last living question from Week 45 of 52 Weeks Of InfiniteFulfillment: ‘What will I consciously create?’ Over the last number of days in conversation with two friends, I have been most struck by our human insistence that things are a particular way. I was so struck by this in fact, that I called a third friend and colleague to engage in conversation about this phenomena. What is it that has people so hard-wired to the belief that things are absolute?….. that scientific proof is conclusive even when we can be certain that tomorrow that same scientific ‘fact’ will be disputed and dismantled?

My friend and colleague hit the nail on the head I think. Simply put, she said, ‘We struggle to live in ambiguity’. If we allow ourselves the possibility that our so-called reality is malleable, that explanation is not black & white, that we source our circumstances, that our individual and collective future is fully within us, life becomes less solid and more fluid than what we are generally comfortable with.

I thought about this with respect to my own existence and its joys and challenges. I tried to return to old ways of thinking that once had me convinced of the reality of a solid world. I tried. I wasn’t very successful. The idea of a fluid world that I am fully responsible for creating is much more exciting, much more intriguing. It makes me feel alive and engaged as an artist of life! Absolute takes on a whole new meaning!!

Perhaps the only reality is ambiguity – the only certainty, fluid creation sourced within you and me.

52 Weeks of InfiniteFulfillment hits week #45 with this post. Over the last several weeks, I have hinted at some changes coming to this site and to QuintessentialYou Design. In the spirit of Tagore’s quote noted above, this project is reaching a time of transition, making way for a new creative idea and a new form. For those of you who have subscribed to this blog, this will be the final post you will receive in your email Inbox until the introduction of the new site and blog. In the meantime, I invite you to check out the final seven posts that will complete 52 Weeks of InfiniteFulfillment. These seven will be posted here between now and the time of the new site launch. When I started this blog a little over a year ago, I had no idea where it would take me. I committed only to writing and to generating a weekly (or close to weekly) inquiry that would allow each of us to explore within our individual experience. My exploration inside this project and my own QuintessentialYou Blueprint brought revelation that includes new expression and application of my work.

InfiniteFulfillment has taken on new personal meaning and greater impact. There are two important key factors in this new context: First, I infinitely create ‘WHAT’ is in alignment with my consciousness…… whether or not I am aware of it. Second, ‘How’ fulfillment and expression of that ‘WHAT’ is accomplished is the domain of mystery. I ‘knew’ this when I began. I ‘feel’ it intimately now. The next horizon awaits.

52 Weeks of InfiniteFulfillment: Week 44 – I AM My IntrinsicDesire

I AM THAT I AM….. the desire intrinsic to my being.

IntrinsicDesire is a fundamental element of the QuintessentialYou Blueprint. Once distinguished, it is revealed and articulated as an I AM statement. Seen and heard, this IntrinsicDesire is as individual and familiar as our name, our hands and feet, the breath we take in and out in every moment. Consciously aware, we can live and move from this place. It ‘cascades’ our being and contributes to creation of the experience of life that is uniquely blissful to each one of us.

Hidden and silent, we wrestle with IntrinsicDesire, unconsciously trying to figure out how to have it take form, even though we can’t name or explain it exactly. Inherent and quintessentially who we are, it is inescapable. It is the individual I AM THAT we each are.

We’ve heard I AM a million times. We use it daily. Yet, it wasn’t until a recent reading in the work of Neville and in the phrase I AM THAT I AM that its relationship to the IntrinsicDesire element of the Blueprint made fresh sense to me.

Yes, I AM THAT I AM – THAT IntrinsicDesire that is forever informing every other little and large desire that arises in my being.

52 Weeks of InfiniteFulfillment: Week 43 – A Brand New Year

Everything about September inspires me – the light, the air, the colour. I love the energy of September, its activities and the transition to soup and fireplaces, boots and sweaters.

From the time I was a little girl, I recall the experience of September. Perhaps it is because it marks the month of my birth, though I think it is more than that. There is a freshness to September. The summer has taken a step back. You can feel it – that lovely preparation for harvest is upon us. Even the impending rains have a lusciousness to them and a sense of the rightness of their drops quenching the thirst of every blade and branch. It feels like everything gets a revision in September – a new start whether or not the path or action we are taking is actually changing.

With nine more InfiniteFulfillment inquiries, QuintessentialYou Design is also undergoing some change, preparing for a new harvest. In the weeks ahead, this ‘Brand New Year’ will bring a ‘New Year Brand’ that I am excited to share with you. In the meantime, I am going to savour the experience of September’s Perfection and its evidence in every russet leaf, white-capped ocean wave, Indian Summer sunset, and cozy scarf.
